KWB Year Round Events.....

Ink Jet Recycling 
Keep those ink jets out of the landfill!  Keep Waco Beautiful recycles ink jet cartridges with Mr. Ink Jet locally and receives up to a dollar per cartridge to used on their year round environmental projects.  Call or email KWB to receive a postage paid envelope for your Ink Jet Cartridges!

Wipe Out Wireless Waste Campaign  (Except during the month of April!) 
A single cell phone can contaminate hundreds of thousands of gallons of water!  Dispose of cell phones properly, please!  They do not belong in our landfills!  Keep Waco Beautiful offers postage paid envelopes to send your cell phones to be recycled!  Help us Wipe Out Wireless Waste!

Plant Pot Recycling Program     420 N. 6th
In an effort to recycle and keep gardening pots from the landfill, the McLennan County Master Gardeners are collecting plastic and/or clay pots, including small plastic containers that pots are purchased in before they are transplanted into your garden. Empty pots may be deposited in the bin at the south back corner of the parking lot at the Extension office at 420 N. 6th or bring them to the Master Gardener plant sale in May.  For more information contact the McLennan County Master Gardeners at

Know someone, a club, business, church, school, class, Scout group, etc.who deserves to be recognized for efforts to beautify the community, to keep it clean, to contribute to local recycling efforts, to help provide environmental education or awareness, or to conserve natural resources?
